The beverage selection was wonderful. The food was great and our waitress was excellent. It was just the perfect type of local fair we were looking for. We had the corn fritters and we each got burgers. Absolutely everything was delicious, right down to the French fries. If we didn't live 10 hours away we would definitely go back.

After pur ft Sumter tour, we came here pre-dinner drinks and intended to share a small plate for we had dinner plans a little later. But we end up ordering food. House Caesar dressing was good but wished the romaine were crisper. Glad I added fried shrimp on my salad -were fresh and tasted sweet n clean! Burger my hubby ordered was too well-done but still tasted good. Hubby had Hefeweizen he said was so good he gave me a taste, I agree! And he is not a beer drinker, err, no more, in a long while! Service was adequate and friendly, typical bar with seating, simple but could tell get busy as we saw to go orders go out like crazy, which explained why our order took longer than expected. In a strip mall and friendly vibe! Nice neighborhood grub!

What a great place to eat. Food and service were very good. Definitely, come back when I'm around the area.

Service was relatively polite and efficient. Had a good burger and really liked the Caesar salad. Ate every bite it was so good. The croutons were especially tastey. I was traveling solo but I could tell it would be a cool place to meet some friends at the bar. The bar staff seemed nice too.

Husband got the charbroiled pimento cheeseburger and raved about how great it was! I ordered the veggie sandwich and for my side chose mac & cheese without bacon. I will have to say this is probably the best mac & cheese. I have found in the area! We will definitely be back for the mac & cheese! Appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip with warm pitas. Very yummy! Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating & a good sized beer menu. Drink menu seems nice with lots of great choices. Service was a great!!

I ordered a Cobb Salad to go. I was visiting the area and I stumbled onto this place. The salad was delicious! I went there to pick it up after I ordered it and it only took about 10-15 mins for it to be done. The atmosphere of the inside looked nice and intimate, and the hostess at the front was super nice and approachable. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Coleman Public House in Mount Pleasant is a spot I usually turn to for takeout rather than dining in. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, but I prefer the convenience of bringing their food home (especially after a long day running around). My absolute favorite dish is the mac and cheese. It's perfectly creamy and cheesy, with just the right texture--something I find myself craving often. The burgers are also solid, with fresh toppings and a good balance of flavors. The few times I have dinned in I thought the service was good as well. If you're looking for a place with great takeout, Coleman Public House won't disappoint.

This unassuming looking pub style restaurant has the most delicious food inside. We ventured here Saturday night based on other reviews and really enjoyed our meals. My son ordered the adult fried shrimp plate that came with two crab & corn fritters and fries. He gobbled up the fried shrimp and couldn't even finish. I think they give you twelve. He wasn't a fan of the fritters, they were a a bit overdone. The fresh cut fries were yummy. I would give my shrimp & grits 5 stars! Delicious. My husband got the shrimp po boy. Good sized and a side of aloha fries. He regretted ordering the aloha fries. They were tasty but he's not used to having all that sauce on fries. I thought they were tasty, something gave it a bit of a kick and enjoyed the furikake sprinkled on them. Our service was excellent we would definitely venture here again.

We've been to CPH's brunch a few times and (this time) met a few friends for lunch. We all ordered simple stuff (burgers, salad, chicken sandwich) and were DELIGHTED by CPH's presentation, flavor, and portions. I enjoyed the Southwest salad very much and would put it up against Heavy's or any other local/dynamite/5-star salad. And yes, the chicken sandwich was everything you want....messy, crunchy, flavorful, and sweet (mayo). We loved it. And yes, all the burger guys were happy with their choice. Service was perky, warm, prompt, and without error. At this price point, CPH delivers a great dining experience, great beer selection (I was told), and a simple, cool bar setup. Patrons only need a clutter-free dining room, cold drinks, and a food-focused experience. CPH delivers all three well.
